Invitations that make a spectacular first impressio by paperless post

Whether it is a wedding, shower, birthday, or some other event you want to make that great first impression right? And no I am not talking about fashion here although style does play a part. I am talking about that first bit of announcement, the invitation. It is what grabs your attention first right? The invitations are what really make that first impression on a party. Not the décor, that comes later. But a great and beautifully unique invitation can grab that persons eye and really make them want to RSVP yes or no. Of course if they love the person sure that helps, but come on we all love a bit of creative and beautifully crafted invitations don’t we. We are after all visual beings. And so today on Glamorousandgeeky I have teamed up with Paperless Post to talk invitations and making that great first impression!

With being pregnant with another baby, a shower is in my future. And what can set the mood before anyone even sets foot in the door is the invitation itself. Sure they are already excited about baby I am sure, or if you are getting married the wedding. But for the party itself, you want them to think it is an extra special event. And what better way to get that across than with custom invitations? OK, you can get the kind at the store, but we are in that age of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Pinterest. You want the kind of invitations that you see in a social media post! Even if you say you don’t, we all know if you got a beautiful invitation to a shower or party you would take a shot of it. Even if it is just a snap on Snapchat.

Paperless Post makes is so easy with just a couple of clicks! And what is awesome about Paperless Post is that you can go ultra high-tech and you can also get beautifully printed cards! So, you can save a tree and go the online route with you invitations and watch your carbon footprint. I love the idea of online cards, but there is something special about getting mail still. And holding something physical like an invitation is something that people tend to still love. We still like the idea of physical invites. Although, it does make life easier when you do not have addresses, but have an email of people. You could always do both, which is what I do when planning a party or shower for people. Those I know want a physical tangible card get one, and for those I know I only have emails I send the online invitation.

I love that I can sit in the comfort of my home and pick out invitations. I wish that kind of thing was more readily available when I got married back in 2009! Oh well, here is to the here and now right? We can do this! And can we just take a moment to ogle over the fact that Paperless Post has designer designs like Oscar De laRenta and Kate Spade! I am so excited about that, they are beautiful designs.

I am really excited about this and even if I do not do the invitations there is always gender reveal cards to and customizing with photos is easy. And just so you know Paperless post does have holiday cards too, just in case you are thinking “I don’t have a reason for invites.” You can always get your Holiday cards done and out of the way! Plan ahead! Beat that Holiday rush!

I’ve heard good things about Paperless Post, but haven’t tried them yet. These are all such cute cards!
