Loreal Paris Sleek it!

Hi there everyone. In my quest to have somewhat manageable hair I have tried everything from coconut oils to pinterest ideas. Treatment oils and no shampoo (never again) and while a lot of things works for others individually they didn’t necessarily  worked for this lady here.

So what has been working? Well. I remembered I had some of L’Oréal Paris Sleek it products. I bought them for 99 cents each after coupons. Woo! I never really used them much as I didn’t think they worked at first. I stuck them back into my hair products box of woe. Only to get them back out after being annoyed at my weird hair.

This time I used them right. And after combining them with Sexy Healthy Hair (you can read that review here) and finishing off with my CC hair cream I have the hair I have been wanting for a while. What?!wpid-wp-1437220173625.jpeg

So let’s talk about the products from L’Oréal . The bottles are black and basically say what they will do on the front. The design is sleek(see what i did there?).I used the 24 hour strand smoother serum spray (say that three times fast)and heat sheild. I have to say of all the heat sheild I have used I like this one best. It is affordable and works. The bottle for the heat spray has an on off switch so little person can’t spray it everywhere. Yay.

This is after washing my hair with OGX coconut milk conditioner and morraccan argan oil shampoo. Them when just damp I put on the Sexy healthy hair serum.
Ok I section off my hair as you should when straightening it. And spray first with the heat sheild then the strand smoother serum spray . I straighten and then move on to the next sections. Doing the same thing.
Until all done. Then I lightly spray all over with the strand smoother serum spray.
Finish off the ends of hair with CC hair cream and done. My hair feels amazing!  And it does last frizz free even in humidity well longer than usual for me. But hey I’ll take it!!

Yeah. I didn’t last with the no heat thing. I just can’t the beast has to be tamed.

Hair products or tools I am lusting over.

GHD lavender. It’s purple!! 🙂

Happy Caturday!!

I always give a new product 2 or 3 tries. Usually i hate it the first time and to absolutely love it later. But there is time when is the other way around.

That has happened to me before too . The chi line was that way. Started out living their hair care products but then I didn’t like it much any more. The loreal restored some faith there. 🙂

I think you need to do a before and after post about your hair. I always think it looks so lovely. Maybe I don’t understand because my hair is so straight that I would kill for some body. 🙂

It is a weird texture. It is basically curly and wavy at the same time so when it is not styled with a heating tool is is HUGE. A friend once told me my hair is so wild they need to stick me in the jungle with Tarzan….ouch. I will be happy to do a before and after for you all!! I tried it once before but my son played with the tripod and we’ll you got pictures of feet. His feet… It will be a nap time collaberation. Hahaha

Does your hair run in your family/lineage? I’m half Italian and half German – my Italian father has thick, wavy hair while my German mother has very thin hair. Guess who I took after? 😛

Have you ever had your hair short? I would imagine the less weight would make it even harder to control. Have you ever done anything crazy like get a perm and turned it into a huge poof? 😛

I really like your hair though! Wish I could have some of the “problems” you have with it. 🙂

Pretty much everyone else has straight hair. Curly hair runs in the family a little bit and I got it. When it is short even shoulder length it is a night mare. It is just a pain. When I was little like 8ish my mom permed it and well, never again. Lol. My hair is just wanting to be poofy. There is a whole lot of volume.
