Hi there friends! If you saw my Instagram @gofashiondeals yesterday you may have seen my sneak peak at what would be on today’s blog post! More cookies! This recipe is one I made up because we all love thumbprint cookies and cream cheese is always good. Plus with Reeses having heart shaped butter cups why not make a cookie using that peanut buttery goodness! And you don’t have to use those if they don’t have any, you can use Hershey’s kisses, Dove Hearts, or if you have a Godiva near by use their hearts. So yummy.
What ye be needin.
dry:
2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 bag of Reese’s Peanut butter hearts
wet:
2 sticks room temp unsalted butter (unleash that inner Paula Dean)
4oz of Cream cheese room temp
1 egg yolk
1 tsp of vanilla
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
In a bowl cream together cream cheese and butter. When nicely whipped add the sugar cream together then add the egg yolk. Add the vanilla and then one cup at a time add the flour. Medium speed with hand mixer, or if you are me today lots of elbow grease. (my little one didn’t like the handmixer today) When mixed take a bit of dough and roll into a ball, then put on the cookie sheet. When you are done take a heart (still in its foil) and press down on the cookie. This will indent it to the heart shape for later. Do this to all of the cookies, it will also help you see how big to make each ball. When that is done put into the oven and bake for about 12 mins. The cookies should still be soft, this is not a hard cookie. Take out of the oven and unwrap the hearts and place one onto each cookie pressing gently. This will melt the candy enough to stick to the cookie. Set on a baking rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
These cookies will make anyone’s heart melt. Perfect as gifts or for yourself! Because you may not want to share!
I am going to try them with cocoa powder in the mix next time. I’ll let you know the results.
Quick question, do you like seeing recipes on the ol bloggeroo? Let me know in the comments below!

This recipe looks really good! I think I’ll have to try it!
To answer your question – I think it’s great when you occasionally add recipes and such. While your blog is primarily about fashion, it’s wonderful because it’s about YOUR fashion. The recipes and other posts just make your blog even better because it’s about you. And that’s what sets you and your blog apart from other fashion blogs.
If I were you, I would share my many talents as well! 🙂
It is so addicting. Hahah great cookies! Thanks Molly!!!! 🙂
