Styling a statement necklace with comfortable style.

Styling a statement necklace is easier than you would think, Some of the bigger chunkier pieces can be a bit overwhelming, but if done right it can really make an outfit stand out. This necklace, which isn’t available anymore(sorry), is one that I saw and loved instantly. But when I got this statement necklace, I was intimidated by the tassels and the jingly charms. It is a big ol boho necklace, and it needs to be worn with things that make it stand out!

I decided to take this really plain Jane comfy maternity outfit and make it less of “oh she is wearing yoga pants” to WOW. And by wearing this necklace I was able to achieve that! I think anyways. The black tank top and long vest with the grey comfy Motherhood Maternity yoga pants was just elevated by adding a gigantic and bold boho necklace. The bright blue stood out against the black tank top and vest of this outfit.

This is something you could do with pretty much any statement piece! As long as you keep other accessories to a minimum.

OK, so Yeah, I am wearing yoga pants. But, I am pregnant and everything sucks right now. Discomfort is my middle name at the moment. So, since I would spend 80% of my day in the car (or as my son would have called it the car-car) I wanted to wear a comfier than Sunday pajamas outfit. Considering my hips are all messed up with my lower back, hello physical therapy, I need comfy clothes some days more than others. I can not even exercise without some pain, some days are not bad and then I can stretch some but the rest is a complete couch potato day. It sucks. So, yeah, I am wearing yoga pants.

Let’s face it sometimes comfortable clothing and outfits just are a necessity. But, you can always step it up with the jewelry if you feel like you need to be “fancier”. I did!
