Hi there friends, I have no idea what to title today’s blog post. I normally just make it very to the point with what I am wearing. But, today I had the biggest brain fart imaginable. Seriously this has been an on going problem. I wanted to post something Wednesday,but the lighting made my pale skin look way to white and my legs blended into the background. Then I wasn’t happy with what I was wearing. And Yadda yadda yadda.
Today, is a better day. I decided to make it easy on me and make use of the great maxi dress from Express . It is kind of cold out though and while contemplating on walk with boy I decided to get outside and snap some photos. Yea, it is 47 ish out right now.

I love pairing maxi dresses with the basic jean jacket. There is just something really nice about it. And this look can be done with pretty much a variety of colored dresses. I have worn it with pink before.
I really want to get some of the more boho style jewelry for this too. I just love that silver jewelry with things like this.
A bear took down the bird house…again
I decided that today was another “heatless hair day” So up in a braid it goes. I am trying to keep that goal for 2015.
I find it wonderful that maxi dresses can also look great with some good flats. Dresses like these I think sometimes look better with them then with heels. I will have to do a post about that later.
OK, so I still LOVE this dress and still am so happy to have it.
There are some cons to having or rather wearing a cut out dress.
When you lift your arms, you can see the bra sometimes. I have worn this dress with several different kinds. Satin makes it slide up. The Victoria Secret t-shirt bra is OK with sliding. So, yea if you go out you make have to check yourself for moving. Or get some fashion tape. Weird that has to be said. But, maybe you do not need to worry about that and it stays fine. ME? Well, I have to adjust. Then again, I am just hanging out at home today, so it’s fine.
One more goal for the year….remembering what year it is now.
