Feel the Flare

Hi friends it is Friday and you know what that means?! It is the weekend and tomorrow is Saturday.  I have to say after yesterday’s awesomeness, I am so happy to have gotten a full nights sleep and let me tell you I can so tell the difference. Today, my little lad and I are trying to keep each other entertained. And I have made a new cookie recipe that I can not wait to show you all! I will give a hint: it involved heart shaped reeses. That is all I am saying at this point. You will have to tune in tomorrow for a read of this recipe. I hope it turns out well. I love baking with my son,even though he is scared of the hand mixer. #toddlertroubles

SO, now on to today’s outfit of the day! I went for something more classic, I guess. I was wearing a great button down blouse from H&M then got cold and put my fave MANGO sweater over it. The result is very chic and WARM as heck! Bonus. We like warmth and chicness. Don’t we gang?

I also brought out this faux leather laser cut bag that I bought from JUSTFAB a while ago. I like the way it looks with today’s outfit.

What I really love about today’s outfit are the super comfortable flared jeans! I got this pair from EXPRESS. I love their jeans, they always fit well and I seem to stumble in their stores at the right times. SALE time. These jeans do not fall to low on the waist and I like them a bit long so I can wear wedges and look taller than I am! *tricksy me, and if you read that in Gollum’s voice you are incredibly awesome.*  THat is the beauty of a good flared jeans, you can hide zee shoes and look that much taller. Good ol artificial height and tricks of the eye. But flares and wedge sandals kind of go hand in hand. They are the peanut butter to the jelly, the Sammy to the Dean(SPN), The Frodo to the Sam, and the Ron Weasley to the Harry Potter. They just go together. You can style them super boho or 70’s. You can also make them super chic and high fashion. Endless possiblilties. And I am so happy I kept the pair I had from Ny&Co from a few years ago. Now I have a lesser flare and these.
