You know if there was a blogger award for the lamest titles, I would be a runner up or winner. I really derp out when it comes to that. Anyways. Today’s blog post that is my look of the day is a pretty simple one. I know it is a two post kind of day. I meant to post the hair one last night and it didn’t happen for sleep over took me.
Today, I went for a basic outfit. Simple and still fashionable. I picked out my Express tank with lace trim and some flared jeans. Truth be told I got dressed in the dark. It was 6AM and still dark out. My son was in bed and so was hubby. So, I staggered to the closet after making sure coffee was brewing.
I picked out my blue tank and walked back out in darkness to fiddle with my jeans and grabbing the first pair. I lucked out!
Today, I didn’t bother with my hair. It is curly and I am trying to not use much heat on it lately. Trying to grow it longer(yeah right!) it was my son’s first day back to school after spring break. Hence why my outfit is simple and my hat is covering up my I didn’t brush my mom hair.
I also took these pictures after dropping him off. Hence the sun not being up all the way.
I love the details of the shirt and the navy color. It is a great spring outfit.
I love quiet mornings. I was able to get some of the house clean before going to lunch with the hubs.
We went to a restaurant called BYTE. It was so good!

Carne Asada tacos. With pickled onions and French fries
The steak for these tacos were so good and perfectly cooked. They also had a Mahi Mahi taco which I will get next time. My husband got the lamb fajitas.
It came on this really hot rock which was cooking the meats. The fajitas came with the traditional Greek sauces. The portions were good and the ambience was perfect except for one thing. The floor. It was a death trap for heel wearing ladies. So slippery, and yes slipped and I fell. Yup. But, that aside and no wasn’t hurt the lunch was good . Will I go back? Absolutely and I will be sure to wear flats.
Thanks for reading and I hope your Easter was fantastic! Mine was fun and full of sweets.
