I love the calendar on my phone. That is when I remember that I have one. Usually, i am fumbling through my purse trying to find a piece of paper to write an important date. Even though I have a Samsung note 8. Which has a note taking software and apps.
I love my paper planners, and for the life of me can not understand why I stopped using them. Was it the pressure of trying to go all tech? Probably, since I was made fun of for my archaic use of a paper planner as opposed to using the phone’s calendar.
Getting organized is easy with a paper planner. I keep better track of my to do list, my groceries, my finances, and time with a paper planner. Yes, the calendar app has a lot of uses, but there is something to be said about physically writing it down vs just typing it.
So, originally years ago when Franklin Covey was more available, I had several of their planners. And loved them. And Franklin Covey is how I learned how to organize my day to day better.
Example: list things you need to do order them in a, b,and c etc. As you complete each task do a check mark and circle it done. For the tasks you dont complete move to the next day and put as A.
These are the kinds of things I did all the time. But I have let it slack, just like everything else. And honestly I feel scattered brain. I use my phone, but I feel so out of it when it comes to organization.
So, when I saw the above planner at Walmart during a school supply run, I felt compelled to get it. To get this planner and get my organized life back!
