Hello there friends and happiest of Monday’s! I had the mother of all weekends. Starting with Saturday, went on a mommy break to the mall to H&M for something that I was wanting really really bad. And then back home to get ready for a fire works display at night with my family! My morning was pretty good but sneaking out of the house to take some much needed “me time” was hard when you see your little looking out the window crying that mama left. But, alone time is necessary. My kid is really clingy, I mean right now I am writing this with him sitting right next to me watching Sesame Street.
When I got home I took pictures and he was right there, and yep still in his jams. The outfit I chose was all black, leggings from Target and this Game of Thrones tee from SHEIN. I knew I wanted to style it with my new JUSTFAB booties. Because they are so cute!!!! Love these Lorieda booties. You can read that original post here. These booties are super comfy and will get a lot of wear, along with my new ALDO Alvito bag! Together this makes a great outfit(although the bag doesn’t go all that well. I was too lazy and tired to change it for my red bag.) The tee is one that gets a lot of compliments too being that there are a lot of Game Of Thrones fans out there.
I also tried the Mango drink from Starbucks and I didn’t like it! It was like drinking sugar. I really was hoping it was going to be a great drink and I was disappointed. But,I am sure there are loads of people who love the drink from Starbucks.
So, lets talk about the night. We went as a big family to see fireworks like we do every year. And my little was doing so good this year, but he got bored. And then he got over stimulated, which is not always a good thing for a child with ASD. He doesn’t know how to process it. So we took him to the play ground and let him play. That is until he got smacked with a swing. He wasn’t paying attention, there was so much happening. My son was also not listening to mommy and daddy. So he walked by the swings and before I could grab him, he was tossed! Then he landed on his neck and his face. I swear to everything I was so scared. I ran to him and yeah he had, blood on the lip, blood coming out of the nose. A small bruise would show up the next day on his nose and side of my little’s face. He was saying “ouch mommy.” While crying, and that friends breaks my heart. He is sore I bet, but the fact he can’t tell us I have to guess by watching him. And he eats very carefully right now which I was certain his mouth hurts.
We didn’t see fireworks. And I am OK, I wanted him to be OK. Which he is, and maybe I over reacted to my worry. But, I don’t regret it, he is only 4!
Maybe next year.

Thank you Gabrielle!!!! One of my fave tees!
Oh, poor guy! Bummer about the fireworks. I’m not sure we’ll go see any this year–they’re always so late! Love those booties, what a fun addition to your look!
Yeah. He has a couple of bruises . I’m not sure if we will do our own fireworks
This outfit is so chill and chic, I literally adore it.
