It has been 2 weeks since little E was born, hard to believe that I have 2 little boys. But, I do, I have 2 littles now. 2 weeks post partum and already my maternity clothes are getting looser and looser. Pumping is what is doing it and the fact I can not sit still. Although, you can be sure I will get my butt back into exercise mode once I get cleared at my 6 week follow up. And I am also wondering why I keep smelling cigarettes when there is no one around that smokes. This started a few days after being home. This phantom smell is driving me insane. It comes and goes through out the day.  Going to be a fun doctor’s appointment.

Velvet Asos skirt and Skreened Mordor tee. dressing for after babyI love this skirt from ASOS, I think the color is gorgeous and the pleating is so on trend. It is something that fits but a little loosely.  The length is great too, this skirt looks fabulous with graphic tees, and also with regular blouses. I am so happy I got this when I did, the skirt is on sale right now for under $20! I wore it with my jeweled sandals for some bling and also because I don’t trust myself in heels yet.

And I tied the top so it makes it into a crop top which I love wearing with skirts that are more high in the waist. It felt good to be dressed and have makeup on, although right now I am not wearing any and look overly tired. But, I have a sick 4yr old son and a son who wants to eat every hour on the hour. NO sleep happening here.  I am exhausted, and even though my hubby is home right now sleeping is hard. My older son wakes me up needing things and climbing on me. OR my newborn needs something. OR my husband needs something. I am so sleepy and everything makes me cry.

I have one other piece in my closet this color, a dress by Chloe! I am looking forward to wearing it again! I chose this look for the colors and to see how the skirt fit after the baby was born.

I’m so excited that things are getting back to normal for you! What’s your planned workout regimen once you get the okay from your doctor???

That all sounds great! The older I get the more I find the weights at the gym really make an impact on my losing weight and getting some nice tone in my body. Do what works for you and have fun with it!

I plan on using some weights, my physical therapist showed me some routines for my hips. 🙂

It’s hard to believe you gave birth two weeks ago – you look amazing! Those early weeks are hard, especially with a premature baby. I love your skirt, the colour is beautiful! Thanks for linking up, hope you manage to get some quality sleep.
