Well, we survived hurricane Irma. What a storm that was! And one no one will forget, just like no one here can forget Andrew and how Texas will remember Harvey. For this post, I decided there was no sense sticking around the house hot and gross feeling. So I planned for my son and I to have a little shoot outside and get out of the house. Which indecently the power came on right as we were leaving!!!! The joy of it! So we closed up the windows turned the breakers on and left the house while it cooled down. We went and did our errands after our shoot.
It was a good thing too since there is nothing worse than a hot child. Who is sweaty and trying to snuggle you all night. My hubby and I were overheated. There was not a breeze at night. So, when the power kicked on we cheered! Can you blame us?
So the outfits! I decided to wear my tulle skirt. It has an elastic band for the waist and my nerd tank. And since I wanted to show a transitional outfit, I wore my ankle boots of velvet by Justfab. As well as pulled out the red bag everyone loves! Alucard is my fave purse!! It is such a vibrant ruby color! I mixed fabrics and textures. Formal and informal pieces. This skirt is perfect for the bump too. Keeping that style of mine!
The mix is casual with some sophistication as well as edge. You could also match this outfit with some of the booties I talked about in this post here.
For him I put him in some cute casual comfy clothes. A graphic tee that showed we haven’t lost our sense of humor. And some great denim shorts from Cat and Jack collection for Target. This is a good outfit for those hot and humid Florida days! He was comfy and that makes him a happy boy!
