Or at least the one at Universal Studios Orlando. Am I right? Didn’t get my letter, Gandalf you had better show up when I am like 50ish? Anyways, today has been one of “those days”. You know the kind, the kids or kid in my case start Β out alright then all of a sudden in the grocery store they turn into mini Hulks and go nuclear at the register over coconut water. My son loves coconut water. I rarely if ever give in. And today I did, I gave in to the tantrum. Which normally I don’t. Normally I ignore him or just acknowledge he is upset and then he still doesn’t get his way. Most of the time the issue isn’t over wanting something it is due to a meltdown caused by over stimulation, or sensory issues. Why did I give in? I ask myself as I sit here watching super bowl commercials waiting on Lady Gaga munching away on chocolate chip cookies. I have no reason, no good reason other than I am human. I make mistakes and mom’s you know you have been there.
Then we had to cut his hair, something we are going to do ourselves now. His hair grows so fast and he has such a freak out we decided to just do it at home. And it worked out. But he was still upset. Doesn’t like things near his ears. Can not say I blame him.
So after he was done being tortured by my husband and I with clippers and a quick bath time. He went to calm down in his room and I went outside for some nature and my inner zen. I needed it. I needed 5 minutes. So I snapped some pictures while sitting outside can’t blame me. It was a pretty afternoon.
I wore my Hogwarts shirt and some simple skinny jeans. Along with my Justfab boots and handbag. A dark olive green boot and the mauve bag just complimented each other so well. I love this outfit, it’s geeky, it’s glam, it’s me, and it has coffee and tiny child hair all over it. Oh well. Such is the life of mom.
Now when I took these yesterday, I had planned on posting this blog post before passing out from exhaustion. That didn’t happen. So here we are. YAY. I feel like I am still behind.

That tee is so cute! I would love to see Universal again. I saw it when I was in 8th grade (we actually went there for our class trip!), I even think it was called something different then. Kids can def. be exhausting most days!

THank you so much CArrie! You are right, it was a part of the area of Dueling dragons. It was mostly fantasy and such like Sinbad ETC and Midevil things. It has changed quite a bit, but if you ever go you must get to Hogsmead!
It’s fun to wear shirts like this Stephanie!!
And you know the saying, right? You have to pick your battles? It’s a daily thing with kids, but won’t they feel better if they can win one occasionally?
