Hi there friends! Happy Friday! Yes, it is Friday! And Halloween is just around the corner! Hurray! So exciting! I am hoping to take pictures of my finished Elsa costume for the bloggeroo here. Good times! Now on to other things. We all know how much I love and adore stripes. Which is funny because I used to not like them. Now, I can not get enough! And I am trying to find different ways of wearing them. I have a cute shirt dress from H&M that I have worn as a dress and as a tunic. It is a versatile dress, which I love so much! I wore it as a shirt under my H&M striped skirt. The stripes are a bit different on each piece but also very similar.
It really doesn’t look that much different from each other. Pretty similar. And I am wearing my JUSTFAB shanghai wedges. As it still feels like early summer here. We still wear skirts and shorts, etc. Remember me talking about that in yesterday’s post?
I also pulled out my cute little Mohzy bag to add some color to this very Monochrome outfit. I love adding a pop of color with my black and white sometimes. In my shoes or bags. It just makes that extra interest.
I love how this outfit came together and the great thing too is the shoes have that glorious fringe on them. And if you want to partake in the fringe but not go over board these Justfab wedges will do the trick and quite nicely. May I also add how comfortable they are! They are so comfy!
The sun is so bright and I am so fare with overly sensitive eyes. Squinting is inevitable sometimes.
Now, this skirt is one of my faves. So much so that I wore it till a seam popped on the bottom. Luckily for me I know how to fix that! Repair stuff if you can, if not donate or toss.
Got to save a train again.
I love this look! So easy to do and It is super easy to recreate with things in your closet. Or purchase items that can have multi purpose. I try to as well as buy pieces that can go season to season.
The lost train.
OK, so the other day when I was trying to get some blog pictures done so, I could utilize the space we were at my little one had a train with him. Not a mechanical train, one of those bath time toys. Where it squirts water when you squeeze it. Anyways, when the wee lad was ready to leave he had the little train. I changed his clothes and we left the park. I swore the train was there. Once we got to the car I noticed something was missing. But, I figured I had set it in my bag. Nope. Not until we got to the grocery store did I realize my mistake. We left the train. One of his favorite toys. OH NO!!! I felt like an awful mom. Leaving something behind that is important to him. So, after we picked up the hubby from work we went back and I ran like a maniac to where I changed him. NO TRAIN!!!!! OH NO! I then ran like a giant bear was after me. I ran all over the park. Then I saw it, in a parking lot. Sitting there gleaming in the sun light that was going down. It was like a beacon of traindom. I ran like a psychopath over to it, picked it up and booked it back to the car. I had my little man’s toy. My hubby sat there smiling at me and my need to make things right. (I dropped it, or he threw it.) Got to love motherhood.
Silly train.
Eh well, we learn right? Has that happened to you? Or do you remember leaving a special toy at a place when you were a kid?
