OK, if dad’s can have Dad jokes surely we mom’s can too. I honestly didn’t know what to come up with the title of the post. So this was it. And it fits since I am in wearing a color orange and not yellow like a banana. I found this top while looking around online for nursing and maternity tops. I need both so why not make sure they work for both. And this top has gotten a lot of attention in public. People have told me how much they love it. And how much they didn’t know what an ASOS is. Which makes me a sad panda. Asos is amazing and I shop there a lot now. Most of my maternity clothes are now from ASOS, the quality is really good and I can find designer as well as their own brand there. They even have ALDO!
This maternity top is one I decided to wear with jeans and some sandals. We had some typical Florida weather. Warmer, but rainy throughout the day, and so the color choice was very uplifting. I love it! And with the jeans the shirt really stood out. This Asos maternity top has the cutest cold shoulder with ruffles! I can see wearing this after my second little arrives with a nice skirt and heels. Can not wait to get back into some of my old clothes. That blue Chloe dress is calling my name!
I wore this top with this gorgeous Sugarfix necklace, I love Target’s collaboration with BaubleBar. It makes having Baublebar jewelry a little more realistic for us babes on a budget. There are so many pieces I still want. I will share an updated Sugarfix wish list with you all soon! I feel like lately I have been feeling this sense of overwhelming need to get so much done around the house and then get tired after a little cleaning. I have to take things easier on both myself mentally and physically. I have this thing about asking for help, I don’t do it. I should but don’t. And with my Braxton hicks getting a bit annoyingly bad I need to really think about that word, help.
My son and I went to the zoo yesterday, and there was NO ONE there. Due to a little rain the zoo was empty, my son and I being the adventurous types went anyways. We saw his otters and mommy got to work a foot away from him watching his fave animals at the zoo. I had to sit a few times with this shoot, my damn hip was being stupid because without being able to exercise due to some annoying aches and pains, it is acting up again. UGH! But I have to say doing this made the outfit shoot more editorial looking. Or at least it did to me.
I feel like a swollen hot mess, a bloated, uncomfortable hot mess. And people telling me I am about to pop doesn’t make me feel any better or telling me I look better with some meat or fat on my bones, that makes me feel awkward. Because it is uncomfortable physically and mentally. And it is so annoying for a pregnant lady to hear ALL DAMNED day from random people these things or comments from people you know. It really is, and trust me, we are well aware of how we look and feel. Well aware.
What do you think of this top? Do you like the new bling?
