OOTD: Express skirt and crop

Hi there friends! As a blogger I am always on the hunt for somewhere to shoot my ootd posts. A lot of times they are just around my home and I don’t leave it. But, when I found this orange wall, I couldn’t help but snap some pictures for today’s blog post! I also am once again having a brain fart when it comes to titles. More coffee needed?

I have worn this outfit and showed it off a bit on IG but never actually shot it for the blog, unless I forgot. (happens a lot around here) I got a great skirt from Express back during their big sale and the crop top as well. I love red, black, and white. The colors are sharp and edgy but there is a softness to them when accessorized right. Like I paired it with a great Happiness Boutique Necklace and my fave COACH bag.

I love a good crop top and high waisted skirt. To me I think anyone can wear a crop and skirt combo like this! The crop comes just above the skirt and the skirt flares in the most perfect way. And I just love the texture of the skirt.

I think this outfit is one you can go day or night with. For night just change the bag and that is it. Great for if you are short on time but know you are going somewhere. And hey even if you are just staying home with the hubby and kiddo that is OK too. That is my Friday night in a nutshell. Seriously, it is my Friday night and that is fine by me!

I really love this silly orange wall. It is bright and the outfit stands out even more, weird how that works out huh?

I had to shoot this outfit so quickly because my hair is a menace and my makeup was like “lady we will only last so long here in this heat!”
