NYX finishing powder VS it Cosmetics bye bye pores

NYX Hd finishing powder vs It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores setting powder.

NYX finishing powder VS it Cosmetics bye bye poresWhen it comes to makeup, I am always on the hunt for a good setting powder. I have tried Cliniques Translucent powder. I have used loose powders like E.L.F HD setting powder and always still feel like I haven’t found the best for me. Then I got a sample of the it Cosmetics in a bag, WOW. I loved it, and then I got my mother a NYX HD finishing powder to help her set her makeup. The results were great. So which is better? Well I broke it down a bit.

I am a user of the it Cosmetics CC powder already and love what it does for my skin. I can wear it with no allergic reactions, and it doesn’t oxidize as much as other brands. So, when I got a sample of the it Cosmetics bye-bye pores I knew I would fall in love with it. And damn I sure do! This powder is fantastic, and I put it on under my pressed powder to fill in the pores to get a flawless coverage. It certainly works well! It is a great setting powder and it is cruelty free. Not so sure about the anti aging part but it does everthing else well. This is a prestige item, and yes I love it a lot. This product is in fact worth the $29 it costs. Truly translucent, and I would love to know how ladies of color fare with this powder as well as the NYX as sometimes powders that claim to be translucent tend to give of a whiteish look on their skin. Let me know in the comments so I can keep a mental note for future blog posts.

OK, good ol, NYX. This pressed powder doesn’t come with a mirror or powder pad(don’t use it anyways for setting) it is affordable. NYX is widely available at many drugstores and stores around like TARGET even Forever 21! This comes in 3 shades to help target certain issues. But I went with white or should be a “clear”. This powder should fill in pores and fine lines, and although it doesn’t do AS good of a job in that for me as the it Cosmetics, it is one HELL of a setting powder! Especially for the price of $10 bucks! it had a slight oxidation, but nothing that would keep me from rebuying it. As far as cruelty free, it says it is. ,

SO which is better? Well they both have great things about them! The NYX is great and is more budget friendly but the it Cosmetics is the one I will probably repurchase after I use up the NYX. I just like it more personally.

Have you tried either powder? Which is your fave?

Thank you for sharing it. I feel more comfortable trying new cosmetics that have already been tested by someone.

I’ve never used a setting powder before but these both sound like fantastic options!

I use them to keep everything matte. I have super oily skin, and issues with oxidation. So setting powders and setting sprays along with help with it.They are really good powders.
