Hi friends, what a time we are having. I have been trying to get posts like this one done for the blog and life gets in the way. I either have a slew of doctor appointments to do, something blows up in the house, or my son is having a time with his allergies. As a result I am sitting here on a Friday morning now trying to nurse a splitting headache and sinus pain. Oh the joys of allergy season that never ends. Today’s outfit is a real simple one and one that is actually on repeat. I am one who does this a lot. I wear things to death. Even though I have a closet full of things, I tend to wear things over and over. I think this is due to comfort right now. I am starting to grab what is easiest to put on. Being in my 3rd trimester with this little boy I want to wear things that are super comfy. And yes, I have other pieces I can wear like my white Asos dress.
This simple H&M top has been worn and worn and worn again on my blog. And although I wear it a lot, I do mix it up with different shoes and accessories. But nothing beats burgundy and blush together. To me it is a classic combination for an outfit. I am wearing maternity jeans with over the belly band. And even though it has that I still end up wearing the belly band over the one attached. Why?? Because my pants fall off if I don’t. I would love designers to make maternity pants that do not fall off. Even with the weight I have gained, I still have the pants falling off because designers can not seem to get the hip part right on the denim. Which is why I end up buying leggings and such that are a few sizes big for my regular size. And why dresses are becoming more and more prevalent in my maternity wardrobe. Although you see me wear a lot of pants. The pants are easier to chase my kid in. The joys of having a 4 yr old.
H&M mama does have some great clothes and I do enjoy wearing them. The jeans have been hit or miss, the sizes are so weird and none are true. The pair I am wearing is, but another pair that were the same size ripped over my pregnant butt! This is not a joke it actually ripped. Same freaking size, but i got it way back in the beginning of my pregnancy. It was on clearance for 5 bucks and I can see why! Worst buy ever!
So when it comes to the denim, I would say in my humble opinion, that Motherhood Maternity jeans are the best. Not more expensive than Target, and they fit a bit better. They still fall down a lot, for me anyways.
