L’Occitane En Provence

loccitane en provence revie

Pronounced LOX-EE-TAN , began in the markets in Provence by a 23 year old by Oliver Boussan with a small truck and lots of knowledge of herbs. He began by distilling rosemary essential oil. Which he sold locally, then branched out to make soaps, and other products you see today. This is a company that prides itself on research and never tests on animals. Let me tell you there is nothing like the L’Occitane experience in one of their many stores and spas!

What started my love of this brand that is hard to pronounce, was a blogger event set up by a blogger I know. I fell in love with the products after trying their luscious hand creams and their luxurious Lavender foam bath, which incidentally my 5 yr old stole and used up! The great thing about L’occitane is they believe in recycling and really urge you to keep the metal bottles and refill with their refill bags. Which I forgot to pick up when I was last there! Sorry son!

I got some Verbena bath and lotion, and their sumptuous hand exfoliator and cream. AHHH heaven. And when I was there in June at their Disney Springs store, I was given samples of their stunning Immortelle Devine. That skincare is just so good! And everyone also raves about their Almond products. Unless you have a nut allergy, then yeah do not use.

What I love about these bottles are the simplicity. You get that spa like feeling and it is fabulous. Plus it really works!!

I truly love these products and love the scents. The Verbena has a beautiful lemony scent. But the smell isn’t too over powering. I also have got to mention how perfect the one minute hand scrub is too! These products are amazing for a little me time and girls night in! Truly fantastic!!!

Now here are some of my L’Occitane must haves and wants!

a must buy L'Occitane shopping list!!

Lavender foam bath//primrose hand cream(love!!!)//Almonde shower scrub(sounds AHHHMAzing!) Verbena shower gel(love it and unisex!) // Rose trio here here and here // bar soaplavender// hand cream and 1 min hand scrub// almond body oil// immortalle here here

For this post I am wearing something I really honestly didn’t think I would fit into for a long time or ever! This forever 21 skirt! It fit! And I was so happy about that! Although I had to squeeze into it, a week ago I would not be able to get it up around my knee caps, I am not even joking! And of course my hair was trying to puff up in the high humidity that is Florida summer, which I HATE! Still the outfit came together nicely and it matched the boxes.

Just for fun
