Let them be little, protecting your kids from identity theft.

Monty python flying circus.

And now it is time for something a bit different on the blog, stepping away from fashion to talk about something really important. Something you would’t think about happening to your family. Identity theft, and no not your own identity. Your kids. And I know what you much be thinking..

“Whhhhhaaaaaaatttt? Is that crazy loon talking about??”

I am talking about something that even I a person who has had her credit card stolen from a gas station ATM, and also online. Only to find someone using it in another state or 200 miles away trying to buy 500 bucks worth of gas. I never thought my kids could be a victim somehow. But kids are easier targets when it comes to social security number fraud. Why? Well, they are kids and by the time you realize that something is amiss it is years and years later!

How does it happen? Well, as kids parents use their socials to register for schools, you need it for insurance(just went through that whole thing. ) , and doctors offices. Kids are given a social when they are babies and that is prime time for offenders to take those numbers and mess up their baby credit.

As if we do not have enough to worry about.

What can you as the parent do about it? Be careful with those numbers but also invest in some protection with your family. And that is where Identron comes in!

With the backing of AIG and a $1 million dollar insurance policy for indemnity & restoration , Identron can make you feel less stressed out about your children’s credit for their future. Monitoring is done with the major credit bureaus Equifax, Experion, and Transunion.

Signing up is easy and only takes a few moments of your time. You can choose your plan based on your needs and can cancel at any time. The parent plan contains the protection for up to 4 kids! And you can see all the plans by clicking here.

Over 1 million kids were victims of this fraud according to the FTC. It is a growing and expensive problem! The sick thing is two-thirds of those kids were under the age of 7!!!!! That is why getting protection for you an your family is so important! And that is why we need companies like Identron.

This post is in collaboration with Identron, all opinions are 100% my own. thank you for reading!

You may care a lot about your hair, but maybe unintentionally making mistakes that can take a toll on your mane.

I have been trying to find a good routine and found one that works, finally. I have trichotillomania and that in itself harms it and I know it. Also, I lost a lot of hair after my 2nd was born and using depo.
