It’s hot outside, so I’ll wear jeans. Heh.

Hi there friends! Happy Wednesday! OK, so it is really hot outside and me being the genius that I am I decided to wear jeans for today’s outfit of the day. Why? Because I are smartz.  Actually, I just love wearing jeans.  And it is laundry day(still). I have pants and skirts and I just didn’t feel like wearing a skirt today.

I love my new gray boots from Guess. I got them some weeks ago and finally got around to wearing them. Why not? They are cute.  I decided to keep my look really simple and casual today. I am totally rocking my Rocksbox set! Or at least I am hoping that I am  rocking it.

I love basics for days where you don’t want to be overly fussy and are in a rush to get around. Basics transition to different seasons. Like fall and winter it makes layering a cinch. Let’s face it friends it is easy and we all know how we love things that make life easy.

What do you like about basics? Where are some of your favorites from? I love getting tanks and tees from Target and HM. Although, if I find a great sale somewhere else on basics I pick it when I can.
