Hi there friends and how are ya? I am doing OK here other than I want the rain to stop! I got a little one who wants to play outside after all! Today’s post is going to be about hair. YAY! Not necessarily about my mop alone, but about hair extensions. Yes, I took a timid plunge into the extensions world and bought some clip in hair. Why? Well, I am tired of my braids being just kind of flat when I braid my hair. My hair is uneven, due to being layered and a little one pulling on it all the time. And these little clipins help out so much. I bought these little blonde beauties at Sally Beauty Supplies. And for 2 packs it was $27. But that $27 will help me and my braided confidence sky rocket. Is it worth it?
(if you follow my Instagram @gofashiondeals you may have seen a post of my little one helping mama with a flat lay, kinda.) These hair extensions clip in the hair and to keep them from moving around I used some dry shampoo to lock them more in place. Then had my hair French braided. The hair isn’t for me to wear all the time just for when I feel like braiding it and want it too look better.
I used these as a way to bump my Elsa hair to a better look(which you can see a picture of that initial look here). And the result was great! I have actually wanted to get some for a while but Halloween made me take that needed step. So, I “Let it go”. You will not believe how hard it was to find extensions like this in platinum. It took a while to find them. Weird but true. Thank goodness Sally beauty supply had 2 packages left. Was there some sort of blonde weave wars I was not aware of and most were taken in the scuffle? Oh well, the two packages were all I needed anyways. For now. I think maybe it had to do with the fact they can be colored to match your hair. So if you use a OTC color say Loreal Feria in some sort of burgundy you could color these that color to match as they are human hair and they can be straighted and curled with heat tools up to 250 degrees. That is so cool! Is it worth it though, to buy them? I say yes, if you want to have thicker braids or want to try some Pinterest hair you saw on a board. GO for it! If it is to make you feel good, DO IT! For me yes it was worth it.

AND
I am so super excited for Saturday! Not only is it Halloween but my friends at my local Chanel counter are doing my makeup! I am going to have pictures of the “Elsa” Look on the blog hopefully by the latest Monday. Maybe Sunday? Monday may be it since Sunday I am hoping to get my outfits for the week taken. OK. SO I am now rambling my schedule off on the bottom of this post that is supposed to about hair. And I have taken it to a rambling thing. Oh well here is a funny picture!
