Well 2017 is over, on one hand I am glad for that. It has been a year of ups and downs. I am sure we all have had that. And here is hoping 2018 is even better! Politics aside. So, since I keep seeing people doing recaps of 2017, I thought I would do one too. Even though I really didn’t feel like it this year. I wanted to go to bed at 9pm, oh the joys of making a tiny human.
So lets Take a look back!
I started to get more out of the comfort zone and stepped up my photos skillz. (HA) And by stepping up I mean getting my butt away from the house and finding a great brick wall. As well as going out and about to different places. My photography got better and I was able to get some great pictures of the little and I.
I have no idea what is happening here.
I love this outfit! This start print skirt is one of my fave things and I can not wait to wear it again! As well as the damned shirt!
I shared my extreme love of hoodies this year in 2017. It is something I always love. Why not?! They are comfy and if the sweater is over sized you can do that thing with the arms!
I found a great satin moto jacket in March from H&M.I also got this great Hobbit tee and wore them with these satin pants, another thing I cant wait to wear again!
We did another charity walk for the benefit of kids with Autism and other disabilities. Doing these charity walks mean a great deal to me. Read why here.
We took the little to LEGOLAND as they were kind enough to sponsor our visit there! What a fun time!
Went to Disney Springs for the first time ever! Wore the cutest off shoulder dress that I wore on one shoulder. We had a lot of fun and ate at the Rainforest Café. WAs a great time. And while there I made mental notes of where to shoot if I went back.
I got some of the Victoria Beckham for Target Collection! And I love it!
We wore matching outfits!
I got my hands on this Nirvana band tee, and now my son and I have Nirvana tees, I was also just finding out about baby #2 around this time as well. I don’t get the normal pregnancy symptoms and so my period was missed (not uncommon for me on the normal) and then we tested. Tada!
One of my fave outfits from June that I would love to walk around in. I love this Essentiel Antwerp skirt! I have been eyeballing more of their things lately.
This outfit got a lot of love on Instagram, before they scuse the language F_5ked up the algorithm. Now I am lucky to get 30 likes in 3 hours, where I was finally starting to roll and bask in the glory of the hundreds. And the follower count from hell.
ME and my little never apart, except when he is at school. I love Game of Thrones and this tee, along with some great leggings. Still one of my fave all black looks!
I started to go out and about even more for blog photos and had this outfit! And I love this skirt! There are shorts built in! Sadly there are no more of it. And this lace up body suit is just stellar! Just wish my self confidence in it was better. I always felt eyes.
Hubby and I went to the Corning Glass museum when we went up to NY. Read more of that here.
Never too far from Monochrome outfits!
I really need to wear this off shoulder dress again!
This dress was fun to shoot in, and I need to get out and shoot my latest bump in this dress! So pretty!!
I went to Fashion Week in Orlando for the first time ever and met some awesome bloggers!
This was my fave picture of the year, one of them, this Motherhood maternity dress is fabulous and it was a great gender reveal.
Another Great dress was one I got from ASOS. I love this store. The dress is only available in black now.
I love this collection Victoria Beckham did for target.
I wore sneakers again with tulle and a shiny H&M top!
I got really into the Halloweeen Spirit this year!
Really in the spirit
Got invited to a lot of events this year in comparison to last. Although there were some things that happened that were beyond my own control that I couldn’t attend some after saying I would. I am still pissed about it. Very pissed off, because I haven’t gotten invited to much since. I am not sure if that is by coincidence or not.
Me and the little dressed up as characters from Fallout 4!
A cute dress I bought from H&M for next to nothing.
I took my little out again with me for shoots. I do that a lot anyways. I love this ASOS striped tee.
I took my little to Disney Springs to see the trees!
There were so many great outfits in November.
In the end of November and most of December, we were sick. My whole family. So blog posts were more sparse. Due to not being well enough to do crap.
I got more into dressing for the bump this month, even if I was seriously blowing my nose every 5 minutes.
This outfit was very popular this month!
As was this outfit! The tulle, the dress under the skirt as a shirt, the boots, all of it.
And I ended the year with this outfit! It was a great year for my outfits, but next year I am hoping will be better!
THanks for coming along!
