It’s that time again! Time for another E.l.F challenge! Which you may have an idea of on my Instagram. And I want to thank E.L.F for sending me these most awesome products. I got my purple eyeshadow! Anyways, I got some really great items . I got some wonderful new eyeshadows, a strobing palette, and some pretty lipstick as well as eyeliner and a lipstain remover. Which I am most curious about.
Let’s talk about the palettes.
Prism Eyeshadow. $10. Is is a cream is it a powdery base? It feels like both. Goes on like a cream based shadow but looks like a powder. WHAT IS THIS SOCERY!?
This is one gorgeous palette. And remember how I said last time I wanted purple shadows? Well, looky here! There is purple. YAY! The palette is called “Sunset“. It definitely gives me that vibe. It goes on smoothly like a cream but has that powdery look. I am really impressed. I thought it was a powder until I read the packaging. The shadow is really shimmery which is going to be perfect for the holidays!!! 🙂
Here is the swatch. I am INSANELY pale, so the nude shimmer and white didn’t show up much. But the shades are gorgeous and with a primer on the lid they stand out!
Illuminating Palette $6. This is great to have and the mirror is HUGE, which for someone blind like me it is great to have in my bag. I can have this right along with my Chanel Powder and it looks just as luxe.
These are great for strobing and highlighting. I will be honest I had to look up strobing on YouTube. Why? I can not for the life of middle Earth have an idea of what or how to do strobing. I used it mostly as a highlighter and will be watching more tutorials on how to do that other stuff. Took me a while to learn how to contour.
Precision liquid eyeliner $3. This reminds me of the Art Liner by Lancôme. And it is just as good. I have worn this stuff from 7Am Thursday morning to 7:30 PM and it stayed put. Did not wear off. It also lasted through High Humidity. Which is a biggie here in the Sunshine state.
It has a thin brush, which is great for getting into the small corner of the eye. And it makes it easier for drawing a thinner line. I really like that. As I sometimes prefer a thinner line for my eyeliner.
Moisturizing lipstick in Marsala blush $3. This is the perfect nude color for me. It enhances my natural lip color. And doesn’t wash me out. So I do not look dead. I look healthy and alive.
I like to use my Lip Exfoliator before lipstick and or lipstains now. It is great and my lipstick goes on nice and smooth. This is a great lipstick to have and it is super cheap! Think about it. These would be great stocking stuffers! And speaking of stocking stuffers for Christmas.
E.L.F On the spot blot $5. This little adorable case is perfect for anyone as a stocking stuffer and the stuff really works!!!
I like how it comes on a sponge. You don’t have to touch your face with your fingers directly. And it is mattifying. Pretty cool!
Kiss it goodbye Lip Color Remover $3. This is what I was most curious about. This lip color remover. The claim is that it can remove even the toughest of lipstains.
And of course
Here is my look for the #playbeautifully challenge. I went for a bit of a lighter look for daytime. One day I will do a smokey look or perhaps post one for IG.
Good times! I really do love E.L.F.
