Disney Springs and Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe

disney springs orlando fl
Hi there friends got some fun things to talk about today! DISNEY! As we all know Orlando Florida has some amazing attractions like Universal and Sea World..ANd now LEGOLAND. But then there is the big one the big kahuna Disney World. There are so many things Disney like Downtown Disney(great at night) and then there is Disney Springs. Which has a few shops and dining adventures. I went with my mom and sister for a girls day out and shopping excursion to this Disney Eccentric plaza.

World of Disney Store

At Disney Springs it is mostly an outdoor shopping place, there is an amphitheater where you can hear bands play, that day I think there was a highschool band playing? Anyways there were tons of eateries and a few attractions for the kids. Like carousels, a train, and some splashpads. And there is the princess parlor where littles can go and get a princess makeover. But we were there for food.

We were going to eat at the Rainsforest Café, Which if you are going you will want to make a reservation as the place books up fast. The food is mostly seafood based and they do have other options. I got a veggie burger as did my sister. And mom got soup and salad. THe burger was good but over priced. I know, you are eating there for the experience. IT was good food but just pricey. Then again you are at Disney.

The ambiance is what you are there for and it is an interactive restaurant. They encourage you to walk around and take it all in. There are thunderstorms throughout the experience. Which can be a bit scary for the littles.

There is my burger and (cold fries) It is a pretty good burger that is black bean based and has some guac on top. I ate the first half with out Ketchup and the second side with and I will say it is better with the ketchup. Dry without. The second batch of fries were much better.

Soup and salad rainforest cafe

Mom got this which is kind of like a minestrone soup. She said it was good.

So over all the meal was good. Would I go back? Maybe for special occasions?

I guess it is mostly for tourists who want to buy Disney stuff and not want to get it in the park. It is definitely a place you want to make a stop for!

So what do you think? Have you been to Disney Springs in FL?

We have a Rainforest Cafe about an hour away from us and went for my daughters 4th birthday. It’s so fun to take kids to! The food is pretty good, but overpriced, but seeing my daughter’s face when the ‘rain’ would start and the animals would move was the best part!

It is a lot of fun. Unfortunately my little wouldn’t do so well. With his sensory issues he would melt down upon arrival
