When it comes to winter fashion, Florida would probably be the last place you would think of for it. Sunshine and lots of beaches make you think of swimwear, cocktails, and lots of sunscreen. But, this year we actually got a winter! Thank goodness, because my hair loved it and also I was able to actually dress like it was winter! Even if it got a bit warmish as the day progresses. That is why I love oversized knitwear, like this cardigan from Popjulia.
This long sleeved casual cardigan has pockets and a nice hood, which with the wind wouldn’t stay on. But the knit cardigan was so comfortable and cozy! I was nice and warm! Great thing about cardigans like this is that you can just take them off when it gets warm. Which didn’t really happen too much with how windy it was. It was in the mid 60’s and so it was off and on, hence the photos with my wearing it half off. This is a great bit of knitwear from Popjulia and I would recommend it to anyone who needs just a bit of that cozy warmth. It even looked great with the massive belly. Although, I did have a bit of trouble buttoning it over the bump, my belly has been really sensitive lately and I wasn’t too happy with how it sat on the belly(only complaint and that is pregnancy related).
I got the sweater and shoes at a pretty decent shipping time with all the snowstorms happening and such. The packaging was good things were packaged separately and neatly. I also got some new shoes! And let me tell you, the black faux suede lace up boots fit so well. I got them in a size 8 and they are super comfortable!!!! Love them! I like the simple gold details and the chunky heel. They are easy to get on too with a zipper on the side. But be sure to play it safe and size up.
I like that the zipper is on the inside of the ankle instead of the outside. Gives you an opportunity to look at the buckles. The shoes may look really heavy but they are not in the slightest! I was really happy with these shoes and the cardigan! Will I shop at Popjulia in the future? Yeah, I think I will especially for boots and sweaters!
